can anyone tell me what a VP of Product does? And how that jobs works/feels like?
speaking in terms of Tech/Startup, but I am curious of product in terms of industrial design

VP of Product oversees all product, design and engineering decisions that lead to features of a product being developed. They set executive strategy for product decisions and provide the capacity and resources for the team to execute against.
This job usually reports to the CEO so I am sure there is a lot of urgency in not just shipping products but shipping products that impact revenue and improve the user experience in ways that foster growth.
In start up where product is constantly changing/evolving with a lot of risk, I am sure there is a lot of stress that comes along with the roll.
The only differences to consider with industrial design is that product development efforts may involve a physical product in many cases, but most design and engineering principles remain the same.
