Text vs. Video content: Reading is much more efficient, and you can't copy and paste from a video. Written content is also more likely to be edited so that it's concise and correct. Most videos aren't rehearsed, so they're just someone rambling about a topic off the top of their head. The only time I'd prefer video is if it's a difficult theoretical concept that I want to understand, and then I'm going to seek out a professor or expert, and I'm going to look for high-quality content that's either a highly-rehearsed lecture, or a professionally-produced video with high-quality animations and figures, where a lot of rehearsal and editing went into it.
