Logic allows you to piece together an assumption based off the data made available to you and your immediate 5 senses! Intuition, on the other hand, skirts around on the border of the material world and the spiritual. Often referred to as a "gut" feeling, this is what keeps you from wandering down a road you're familiar with logically (I've been down this road before, nothing ever happened why would something happen now) vs. the feeling of peril or danger on your now newly unfamiliar path.
Deep work can be seen as diving intro the creative pool and letting the ideas wash over you. Much like droplets, ideas separated from a plan are singular and wash over you with little effect. But when similar ideas form bigger ideas, the singular idea now has depth, even density as it now combines with another droplet and they strengthen each other as they continue washing over you. Before you know it your deep work has become a body of water, I mean work.
Flow state. In the words of the immortal Bruce Lee, "be water." When you are swimming, one doesn't focus on the water temperature, or what may be in the water, but in a similar fashion, you're in a flow state as you gather all your thoughts and actions into repetitive motions to stay afloat. After awhile a rhythm, an even tempo may emerge and the mind is silenced. You are no longer a swimmer but one with the water. No longer pushing against the water, but perhaps familiar with the force necessary for it to respect you and keep you afloat. This is a flow state, where you've achieved balance with your immediate surrounding and everything engulfs you all at once! Continue the rhythm! Be water.
Forks in the road always lead you to your destination, whether you knew it would or not! For all men truly meet their makers once they're on a path! For it's not the path that makes the man, no, for many take the path less traveled and grow weary, others turn back, some never reach their destination and give up half way through, thinking they've traveled down the wrong path. Nay! For a man is what walks the path and each decision of his will make a new path, alas, all roads lead to the same destination, if that is where you so choose to go. Man didn't make the road, roads are usually named after man.
"If you build it they will come!" This has been tried and true since the dawn of time, even in caveman days. The first man to discover fire immediately knew the importance of quite the discovery, doubters and conspirators be damned! The free market will never lie to you. It will tell you your true value and kick you to the curb if someone can deliver it better than you! In this you are wise to build not only with users in mind, but think of groups, tribes, communities, BOND. This is the glue that holds the human race together. Providing a solution to your fellow man. Your brother, separated not by color, race, creed, ideology or even class. No. Community has been forgotten and replaced by competition. This should be your end goal if you so choose to build something unforgettable. Create, no, BUILD something that your fellow man could never live with out. He will always remember you in that way, even if not by name, but by community and service to your fellow man.
Mark 8:36
"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"
Therefore, GIVE! Do not compete with your fellow man, but give, for God love's a cheerful giver.
And if that's not your cup of tea, the law of reciprocity is rooted in the spiritual, you only need to look at the psychological aspect to find it rooted in the act of goodness and neighborly love.
